2009-2010 Rocket Team to be Unveiled Friday at Noon

In conjunction with the First Annual PEI Rocket Street Hockey Festival, the PEI Rocket announced that they will host a public announcement on Friday at 12:00 noon at Province House to announce the members of the 2009-2010 PEI Rocket.
"We are excited about the upcoming year and want our fans to see the new players who will wear the PEI Rocket jerseys during the 2009-2010 season", said President Serge Savard Jr. "Our exhibition schedule has been a great starting point and we will continue to improve during the year", he added.
"In past years, the Rocket have held a season ticket holder barbecue at Victoria Park, but this is a new way of launching the season", said GM, Kent Hudson. "We want to take advantage of the excitement that is generated by the Rocket Street Hockey Festival and allow fans to visit downtown Charlottetown at noon on Friday to be a part of the announcement".
The team members will be available for a limited time after the announcement for an autograph session. The Rocket will play an exhibition game against the Moncton Wildcats on Friday night at the Charlottetown Civic Centre at 7:00 PM and tickets are only $5.00.
