High Desert Mavericks News Release


Opening Day is still six months away but it's never too early to get excited about the upcoming season of High Desert Mavericks baseball. The Mavs will open the 2004 season on the road as they take on the Lancaster JetHawks on Thursday, April 8th. After four games in Lancaster, the Mavs come home for their 2004 home opener at Mavericks Stadium on Saturday, April 12th as they face the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes at 7:05.

Opening Night on Monday, April 12th will feature the first of eight fabulous Fireworks displays at Mavericks Stadium during the 2004 season. One major change in the Mavs 2004 promotional schedule will feature Family Feasts EVERY Friday night. On 11 different Fridays, Mavs fans can enjoy hot dogs and sodas for just one dollar each, all night long. A bobblehead doll giveaway, baseball card giveaway and other fan-favorite promotions are also part of what will be one of the best promotional years at Mavericks Stadium ever!

Home games will again begin at the standard time of 7:05 with a few exceptions. All Sunday games this year will start at 3:05. Games on Saturday, April 17th and Saturday, April 24th will also begin at 3:05. The Mavs will again feature a Safe & Sober Day Game on Thursday, May 20th, with the game beginning at 10:05am.

Season Tickets and Mini-Plan prices will again remain the same without any price increase, as the Mavs continue to prove to be the most affordable family entertainment in the entire High Desert. Don't hesitate to reserve your Season Tickets or Mini-Plans for the upcoming 2004 season.
