19th Annual Christmas Lite Show Is Ready to Light up the Holidays

COMSTOCK PARK, MI - West Michigan's largest animated drive through holiday light show is set to return to Fifth Third Ballpark for the 19th season. The Christmas Lite Show will open to the public on Wednesday, November 25 at 6 p.m. and run nightly from 6 to 9 p.m. through January 2.

Two preview events are scheduled to kick off the display. Tonight, take a bicycle ride through the lights from 6 to 9 p.m. ($10 per bicycle). And tomorrow, take part in the Reindeer Run/Walk from 6 to 9 p.m. ($15 per runner/walker).

This year's 19th edition of the Christmas Lite Show features an extended trail, bringing the length of the drive to 1.7 miles. More than 70,000 lights have been added to the already one million-plus display, which includes dozens of life-sized animated figures, lighted trees and tunnels of synchronized lights.

Kids and kids at heart will also be able to visit with Santa Claus himself on select nights beginning on December 4.

Vehicles will enter from West River Drive at Fifth Third Ballpark's main entrance, circle around the stadium through the south parking lot and along the Grand River back to the exit onto West River Drive. Admission is $17 per car, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
