Pensacola Ice Flyers News Release
PENSACOLA, FL - Due to contractual programming obligations with the New Orleans Saints Football Organization, the Pensacola Ice Flyers hockey game, Saturday, January 7 @ 7:05 p.m. will not be aired on 1450 ESPN and ESPN Pensacola.com.
According to 1450 ESPN President Doug McAllister, "Unfortunately, we are unable to broadcast the Pensacola Ice Flyers versus the Knoxville Ice Bears game because of a scheduling conflict with the New Orleans Saints versus Detroit Lions playoff game."
McAllister added, "1450 ESPN is committed to the Pensacola Ice Flyers, as we deliver an aggressive twenty-five home and playoff game schedule, a live, every other Wednesday, "From the Bench" coach's show featuring Head Coach Todd Gordon, and a live post-game show after every broadcasted home game for fans to call in and discuss the game."
