Utah Blaze News Release
SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze and The FAN, Utah's Super Sports Network, inked a deal today establishing 1320 KFAN as the radio home of the Blaze. The deal also establishes KJZZ TV as the television home of the Blaze. Live radio broadcasts of all 16 regular-season games, as well as any postseason games for 2008, will air on KFAN while five live television broadcasts will appear on KJZZ TV. The games will also be available on the internet via streaming audio at www.thefansports.com.
"We look forward to partnering with The FAN for our upcoming season," said Blaze president JASON JONES. "They bring to the table a multi-media platform reaching a majority of our fan base allowing Blaze fans throughout the state of Utah to follow the team."
Talent for the broadcasts will be announced at a later date.
"The FAN has established itself as Utah's Super Sports Network, and bringing the Blaze on board adds breadth to our programming and reinforces our position in the market," said CHRIS BAUM, Senior Vice President of Broadcasting and General Manager of The Fan Sports Network.
The Blaze is entering its third season in the AFL where they will continue to play home games in the EnergySolutions Arena.
