Greenville, SC - Are you having trouble finding the perfect gift for the baseball fan on your holiday shopping list? If so, you're in luck as the Greenville Drive's "12 Days of Christmas Sales Event" begins today at the official team store.

On the first day of Christmas, all Drive fans will receive a 2% discount on all merchandise purchased. On the second day of Christmas, Drive fans will receive a 4% discount. Each day, except Sundays when the team store is closed, the discount will increase by 2%, culminating on Christmas Eve when all last minute shoppers will receive a whopping 24% discount off everything they buy!

To sweeten the deal even more for Drive ticket plan holders, an additional 10% discount will be added to each day's already low prices. That means ticket plan holders will receive up to 34% off their purchase during the course of the "12 Days of Christmas Sales Event."

The Drive's General Manager Mike deMaine noted, "The Drive's Official Team Store is the only play in the Upstate to get the gear that the Drive wears, and in variations that are perfect to tots, children, teens, and adults. Whether it's a hat, jersey, or t-shirt, we've got all the bases covered in time for Christmas."

Not only is there plenty of Drive merchandise available, but the team store is also the place to purchase the official locker room gear of the 2007 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox. Any baseball fan would love to have the exact same shirt or hat that Big Papi, Manny, and Schilling wore after the team's second World Series victory in four years.

In addition, on Saturday, December 15, fans of all ages will have the opportunity to get their photo taken with Santa Claus and the Drive's lovable mascot, Reedy Rip'It. From 11 AM - 2 PM at the team store Santa and Reedy will pose for photos with each person taking home a complimentary keepsake.

"This is a great chance for children to finalize their lists and to let Santa know what they really want for Christmas this year," added deMaine. "This is the second straight year that Santa has made West End Field a pit stop to see all the good boys and girls of the Upstate."

There are still plenty of great seats available for the 2008 season through the Drive's variety of ticket plans. Call (864) 240-4500 to speak with a representative or log onto to www.GreenvilleDrive.com for more information. And don't forget, the Drive's Official Team Store has plenty of gift ideas for the baseball fan on your holiday list.
