"Flag football and tackle football alike are amazing games because of the way they connect, energize, and motivate youth." said Courtney Stephen, Director of Community Partnerships, Hamilton Sports Group. "I'm excited to see how our community comes together to make sure that our kids have the access, equipment, and resources they need to play."
The Bulldogs' Foundation mandate is to enrich the lives of youth in the greater Hamilton community. For more than a decade, the charitable arm of the Brantford Bulldogs Hockey Club has delivered a nutrition program in 21 high needs schools ensuring that local kids start their day with a healthy breakfast.
Interval House of Hamilton provides emergency shelter, safety planning and support services for women with or without children that have experienced abuse or violence. They also work with the Ticats to run "Be More Than A Bystander", a prevention program developed to educate youth about gender-based violence and how they can be leaders and mentors in their community.
