Calgary - The Canadian Hockey League today announced the rosters of player for TEAM WHL who will compete in the 2005 ADT Canada-Russia Challenge in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The roster for Team WHL that will compete in Regina will be announced at 2:00 PM MT.

The selection committee consisted of Donn Clark, Prince Albert Raiders, Bruce Hamilton, Kelowna Rockets, Brent Sutter, Red Deer Rebels and Blair Mackasey, Hockey Canada.
"This international series featuring the top Canadian talent taking on the Russians is a major highlight for WHL fans" stated WHL Commissioner Ron Robison. " It is fitting that during our 40th Anniversary season our two longest standing WHL franchises Regina Pats and the Saskatoon Blades will host this prestigious event". The Drummondville Voltigeurs will host the first game of the ADT Canada-Russia Challenge on November 21. The second game will be hosted by the Moncton Wildcats on November 23. The Kitchener Rangers will host the first OHL-based game on November 24 followed by the Peterborough Petes on November 28. The series will conclude in the WHL with the Saskatoon Blades hosting on November 30 and the Regina Pats hosting the finale on December 1. Head Coach for Team WHL will be Brent Sutter of the Red Deer Rebels, while Cory Clouston of the Kootenay Ice and Lorne Molleken of the Saskatoon Blades will serve as Assistant Coaches.
All six games will be broadcast nationally on Rogers Sportsnet and the two QMJHL-hosted games will be broadcast in Quebec on RDS.
