Former Washington State QB Rogers Not Giving Up Dream

December 10, 2010 - A back injury might've ended Gary Rogers' football career at Washington State University but it didn't end his professional football aspirations. Two years after he played his final game at WSU, Rogers is pulling on the shoulder pads again with a professional indoor football team in Wenatchee, Wash., in an attempt to re-start his career. November 17, 2010 - The Wenatchee Valley Venom Professional Indoor Football Team has signed ten players to Indoor Football League (IFL) contracts as the team prepares for the 2011 IFL season starting in February. Venom signs former Idaho Vandals star Woolridge

November 3, 2010 - The Wenatchee Valley Venom added some star power to its running game, signing former University of Idaho running back DeMaundray Woolridge to an Indoor Football League contract. Woolridge, who spent time in the St. Louis Rams training camp earlier this year, had a big senior year for the Vandals, scoring 18 touchdowns and earning Most Valuable Player at the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl. October 29, 2010 - The Wenatchee Valley Venom Professional Indoor Football Team is proud to announce the release of their 2011 Indoor Football League (IFL) schedule today. The Venom begin the season on the road against the Fairbanks Grizzlies in Alaska on Sunday, February 27 followed by their home opener at Town Toyota Center in Wenatchee on Saturday, March 5 against in-state rival Tri-Cities Fever.
