Extreme Completes 4-Player Trade with Green Bay

August 15, 2011 - BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - The Bloomington Extreme Indoor Football Team is pleased to announce a trade with the Green Bay Blizzard for the rights to Quarterback Willie Copeland and Offensive Lineman Tim Mueller. In exchange, the Blizzard acquired the rights to Wide Receivers James Walton and Johnny Gray. Willie Copeland, 6'3" 225 lbs. - Quarterback from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA. Copeland started 11 games at Quarterback for the Green Bay Blizzard in 2011, completing 186 of 325 passes for 1,929 yards and 40 TDs.... Full Story

June 24, 2011 - BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - The Bloomington Extreme are proud to announce that Defensive Linemen, Sean Kelly and Antonio Ficklin have been named as members to the 2011 All-IFL First Team. Extreme's Ficklin Receives 2011 IFL Defensive Player of the Year Award

June 23, 2011 - BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - Defensive Lineman, Antonio Ficklin of the Bloomington Extreme has been named the 2011 IFL Defensive Player of the Year. Ficklin, in his 3rd season with the Extreme organization, recorded 15.5 sacks in 15 games this season to go along with 17.5 tackles for loss, 42 tackles, 4 forced fumbles, and 2 safeties on the season. Extreme fall 39-34 in IFL Playoffs at Omaha in a Tightly Contested Battle

June 18, 2011 - The 2011 season comes to an end for the Bloomington Extreme at the hands of the Omaha Beef with a 39-34 loss in the first round of the Indoor Football League playoffs in Omaha, Neb. Omaha led by 14 at halftime on the strength of 3 James McNear touchdown passes, but the Extreme roared back in the second half on three Rocky Hinds touchdown throws--two to John Cooper and one to James Walton.
