
El Paso takes game against Aviators

ROBSTOWN, Texas â The Aviators got another good start out of J.J. Trujillo but weren't able to pull out a victory as El Paso won 3-2. The win evened up the four-game series at two games a piece.
El Paso struck first with two runs in the top of the second inning. Alejandro Fernandez and Jose Cano both hit RBI doubles giving El Paso a 2-0 lead.
The Aviators got within a run in the third inning on a RBI double from Matt Mann.
Michael Cervera issued a wild pitch allowing Jack Joffrion to score tying the game at 2-2 in the fifth inning.
El Paso took the lead when Juan Camacho scored from second base on a throwing error by catcher Lance Rankin.
Hisazumi Ide (2-0) picked up the win in relief for El Paso. Trujillo (1-4) took the loss pitching five innings and giving up two earned runs while striking out 12.
The Aviators next head to Edinburg for two games beginning Wednesday. The Aviators are home again on Friday to begin a three-game series against Fort Worth at 7:05.
