
Wolves Acquire Guard Jordan Woodard, Waive Zeek Woodley

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves, the NBA G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, today announced the team has acquired guard Jordan Woodard from the available player pool. In an accompanying move, the Wolves released guard Zeek Woodley.
Woodard (6-0, 187) played four seasons at the University of Oklahoma, starting in 124 games for the Sooners while averaging 11.5 points, 3.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 29.9 minutes per game during his career.
The Arcadia, Okla. native started on three consecutive NCAA Tournament teams, including a run to the Final Four during the 2015-16 season. Among Oklahoma career leaders, Woodard ranks fourth in assists (471), fifth in free throws made (440), seventh in steals (186), eighth in free throw percentage (81.2%), eighth in minutes played (3,735) and 14th in scoring (1,440).
During his collegiate career, Woodard played alongside current NBA and NBA G League players Buddy Hield and Isaiah Cousins.
Woodley (6-2, 209) appeared in four games for Iowa.
The Wolves resume action after NBA All-Star weekend with a one-game road trip against the Westchester Knicks on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 6:00 p.m.
