Wildcats Present "Healthcare Team Night" for Game against Peoria

ALBANY, GA- As the South Georgia Wildcats take to the field Saturday night for another af2 match up against the Peoria Pirates, the Wildcats will once again place the spotlight on one of the unsung heroes of the team with "Healthcare Team Night". For the fifth consecutive season, Palmyra Medical Center and Albany Arthritis & Orthopedic Center continue to provide first-class care for the team on and off the field.

"We appreciate Palmyra Medical Center and Albany Arthritis & Orthopedic Center for their continuous support over the years," said Wildcats Vice-President Will Carter. "The medical team is integral in keeping our players healthy and ready to perform at the highest level week in and week out."

"Healthcare Team Night" festivities will include W.T. Henry, retiring Headmaster of Deerfield Windsor School, giving the invocation. Jennifer Norris, Community Services Director of Palmyra Medical Center, will perform the National Anthem. Dr. Bob Pilcher and Dr. Sillah, Albany Arthritis & Orthopaedic Center, will perform the Coin Toss. Jason Riggle, son of Eric Riggle, Palmyra Medical Center Marketing Director, will present the Game Ball.

"Speaking for the Wildcats Medical Team - Albany Arthritis and Orthopaedic Center and Palmyra Medical Center - we are pleased to continue our long-standing association with the South Georgia Wildcats," said Eric Riggle, Marketing Director for Palmyra. "It is no easy task keeping a football team healthy and players performing at their best. It takes a strong performance week in and week out. We are happy to be part of the Wildcats success here in South Georgia."
