WESTCHESTER KNICKS, FOOD BANK FOR WESTCHESTER, AND XPERIENCE OUTREACH PROGRAM TO CELEBRATE 'SEASON OF GIVING' WITH BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF NORTHERN WESTCHESTER

WHITE PLAINS, NY, December 5, 2016 - The Westchester Knicks (@wcknicks), the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, are teaming up with the Food Bank for Westchester (@FB4Westchester) and Xperience Outreach Program (@XperienceTeam) to give back to the community with a special event at the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester (@BGCNW) as part of the NBA Cares 'Season of Giving' program.

Westchester Knicks players will pass out healthy holiday snacks prepared by the Food Bank for Westchester to 150 children from the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester while the Food Bank gives a special presentation on health and nutrition. The presentation will conclude with a Q&A with the players and children.

In the spirit of holiday giving, the Westchester Knicks will distribute household items, generously donated by Xperience Outreach Program, to the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester. The event will conclude with a mini-basketball clinic led by the Westchester Knicks players.
