November 20, 2016 - NBA G League (G League)
Westchester Knicks News Release

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, won its third game in a row by defeating the Canton Charge, the Cleveland Cavaliers' affiliate, 103-96.

Guard Chasson Randle led the Knicks in scoring with 16 points, also supplying five rebounds. Forward Damien Inglis finished with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Keith Wright added 14 points and seven rebounds. Guard Jordon Crawford had a nice game off the bench, finishing with 15 points and two each of rebounds and assists. Guard Kevin Capers rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points from the bench.

Forward Christopher Evans and guard Quinn Cook powered the Charge, each supplying 31 points in the loss for a combined 62 of Canton's 96 points. Center Michael Dunigan was the only other player to hit double-digits; he finished with 10 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.

Canton struck first in the contest, but after the first three minutes, it was all Westchester. Keeping it close early on, the Charge struggled in the second quarter, shooting 39 percent for just 18 points to give the Knicks a 14-point advantage at the half.

The visitors took advantage of a lackluster performance from Westchester in the third to keep things interesting. Though despite 15 points from Cook, Canton only bested the Knicks by seven points, which was not enough to overtake Westchester's lead. Evans helped to keep the Charge alive in the forth with a 13-point quarter, but a stellar off-the-bench 10-point performance from Knicks guard Jordon Crawford in the final quarter helped to seal the deal for the home team.

The Westchester Knicks are at home once more before the holiday break, facing the Iowa Energy, the Memphis Grizzles' affiliate, on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at the Westchester County Center. The game will have an 'early-bird' tip-off of 6:00 p.m. for the team's first-ever Senior Night, which will feature a special performance from the New York Liberty's Timeless Torches.

The game will be broadcast live on MSG Plus and on Facebook Live.
