WHITE PLAINS, NY, Nov. 21, 2017 - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, announced today the team has acquired center Adam Woodbury from the available player pool.
Woodbury (7-1, 245) appeared in four games as a returning player this season for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Indiana Pacers' affiliate, with averages of 3.3 points and 3.6 rebounds over 12.1 minutes per game after playing in 24 games last season. A four-year starter at Iowa, Woodbury finished his collegiate career averaging 6.2 points and 5.5 rebounds over 19.7 minutes.
Additionally, the team has waived forward/center Hanner Mosquera-Perea, who was originally acquired on Nov. 13, 217, but did not appear in a game.
The Westchester Knicks travel to North Carolina next to play the Greensboro Swarm, the Charlotte Hornets' affiliate, on Friday, Nov. 24 for a 2:00 p.m. matchup. The game will be broadcast on MSG Network and will be available to stream via MSG GO and Facebook Live.
