RENO, Nev. - The defending NBA D-League Champion Santa Cruz Warriors (12-18) were defeated by the Reno Bighorns (18-10) 102-91 Sunday at the Reno Events Center.

Mac Koshwal paced Santa Cruz with 17 points and 10 rebounds, his fourth double-double since being traded to Santa Cruz on Jan. 12. Daniel Coursey finished with 14 points, going 7-of-8 from the field, while Craft and Williams scored 12 points apiece.

Reno was led by Ricky Ledo who finished with a game-high of 34 points and 6 rebounds. Vincent Hunter recorded a double-double, totaling 24 points and 16 rebounds.

Reno jumped out to a 10-point advantage behind an 80% team shooting effort at the 5:42 mark in the opening frame. The Bighorns would finish the first quarter shooting 68% from the field and hold the 34-4 edge behind 13 points from Ricky Ledo.

The Bighorns would continue to keep the Warriors at bay in the second period, holding the team to 35% shooting from the field. Santa Cruz could not find an answer for Ledo, who notched 15 second-quarter points, going 5-of-8 from the field.

Coming out of the break, Reno would extend their lead to as many as 17, before the Warriors' rally back to get within striking distance midway through the quarter. Santa Cruz would go on a 12-5 run, culminating with a triple from Looney to end the third period at a nine-point deficit.

Santa Cruz would cut the deficit to four points on a Terrence Drisdom three-point play in the fourth quarter, the closest Santa Cruz would come to eclipsing the Reno lead.

The Santa Cruz Warriors head to Bakersfield to take on the Jam on Feb. 5 at 7:00 p.m. PST. Fans can watch the game on the NBA D-League's YouTube channel, via www.santacruzbasketball.com.
