
Warriors Acquire Carl Ona-Embo

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors announced today that the team has acquired guard Carl Ona-Embo out of the NBA D-League available player pool.
Ona-Embo (6-1, 175, France) was selected 49th overall in the 2016 NBA D-League Draft by the Salt Lake City Stars and was later waived on Nov. 8. Ona-Embo last played for JL Bourg-en-Bresse in the French LNB Pro B League for the 2015-16 season. He appeared in 36 games (eight starts) and averaged 6.9 points along with 2.8 assists in 22.9 minutes per game.
He will wear #8 for the Warriors.
