Victoria HabourCats News Release
Saturday, June 30th, our Canada Day Fireworks Night is shaping up to be one of our busiest nights ever and could see well over 5,300 people head to the game. To ensure you get in smoothly and seated well in time for first pitch at 6:35 pm, here are a few key tips!!
1. ARRIVE EARLY! Gates will be open at 5:00 PM! Please try and arrive early and avoid the rush to get in that usually happens between 6:00 and 6:30! Remember first pitch is at 6:35 PM!
2. BUY TICKETS ON-LINE! You can buy your tickets on-line and print to PDF or simply have on your phone. Skip the lines and save some time. Go to harbourcats.ticketrocket.co to get seats for all the games this weekend!
3. HAVE YOUR TICKETS READY AT THE GATE: Please ensure all tickets that need to be scanned are out and ready to be scanned. Ideally have each individual ticket in the hand of the individual customer, or ensure that all tickets, especially any printed PDF tickets are SEPARATED so that our scanners can easily find and scan the code on them!
4. EXCHANGE GA or PREMIUM RESERVED VOUCHERS in ADVANCE: If you are exchanging Flex Pack vouchers, please consider popping in to our office this week (Open 9-6 today, tomorrow and Thursday, 9-3 Friday) to make the exchange and avoid waiting in line to do that Saturday!
5. LEAVE THE BACKPACK AT HOME: If you don't need to bring all your worldly possessions to the game, then please leave backpacks and large tote bags at home. Security needs to check all bags for things not allowed in the park and this can be time consuming.
6. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK! Please be sure any refillable water bottles you bring in are EMPTY as security will need these dumped out! Again no outside food or drink allowed (medical and allergy issues accepted with explanation).
7. WILL CALL - If you are picking up tickets at WILL CALL please be sure to have your ID ready and be sure you know what name your tickets were left under if they were left for you by someone else!
8. SAVE ON FOOD VOUCHERS - If you have purchased a Save on Foods Voucher, this serves as your General Admission ticket. Simply proceed to the gate, hand it in and enter the stadium! No need to wait in line for voucher exchange!
9. SEASON TICKET HOLDERS and those who purchased tickets some time ago! - If you look at your tickets and see that they have been printed with streaks through your scan code and ticket body (very noticeable), these may not scan correctly! Please bring your tickets back to the office and we can re-print your remaining tickets.
10. BE PATIENT! Our staff and the city gate staff are doing our best to get you in smoothly and safely. Again, please arrive in plenty of time to avoid the inevitable rush! Follow some of the above tips and we can all be ready to enjoy the first pitch at 6:35 pm!
