Forward Devlin McCabe was acquired from the Madison Capitols and defenseman Atte Tuliara was added from HIFK (Jr. A SM-liiga). McCabe was acquired in exchange for an eighth-round pick in the 2018 USHL Phase II Draft and future considerations.

McCabe is a 5'11," 181-pound forward who finished last season with 60 points through 24 games with St. Paul Academy (USHS). The North Oaks, Minn. native is a 2000 birth year committed to the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He has represented the United States at the 2016 U17 Five Nations Tournament.

"We believe Devlin has great skill and can be an asset to our team," Stars General Manager Jon Hull said. "He has represented his country alongside Christian Krygier and the feedback we received on him has been very positive."

Tuliara is a 6'0," 148-pound Finnish defenseman who finished last season with 26 points through 45 games in the Jr. A SM-liiga. He is a 1998 birth year.

"Atte is a player we have been working on for quite some time," Hull said. "His resume is quite impressive and we believe his skill and experience will help the team next season."
