Boise Burn News Release
(Boise, ID) The 3rd-annual SLIERS 'Camp of Champs' is back this week at Qwest Arena in downtown Boise, running from Wednesday to Friday.
The non-contact football camp is taught by Boise Burn head coach Brent Winter and his players. The campers will learn football skills as well as leadership skills. Each of the three days is aimed at a different age range between six and 13:
Wednesday: Ages 6-8, with a morning session (9 AM - 12 PM) or afternoon session (1 PM - 4 PM)
Thursday: Ages 9-11, with a morning session (9 - 12) or afternoon session (1 - 4)
Friday: Ages 12-13, with a morning session (9 - 12) or afternoon session (1 - 4)
The cost of the camp is $50 and each camper receives an official 'Camp of Champs' t-shirt, a Boise Burn team photo, and a voucher redeemable for two tickets to either of Boise's remaining regular season games (July 11 or July 25).
Advanced signups are recommended because there are limited spots available in each session. However, interested campers may sign up at the door on the day of the camp if there's room.
To register, visit www.boiseburncampofchamps.com or call 208.472.2128.
The camp is presented by St. Luke's Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Services and Optimist Youth Football.
The Burn (11-2) returns to Boise July 11 to host the Tri-Cities Fever. Game time is 7:10 PM at Qwest Arena. Due to popular demand, it will be another "4-for-$44 Night" for the Burn where fans can purchase four tickets, four Pepsis, and four hot dogs for just $44. Tickets are available by calling the Qwest Arena box office at 208.331.TIXS or visiting www.boiseburn.com.
