
Iron Sign WR/DB Perry Kyles

The Milwaukee Iron have activated WR/DB Perry Kyles and placed WR/DB Jamaine "CoCo" Blalock on re-assignment, Vice President and General Manager Jason Clark announced today.
Kyles (5-10, 192) comes to Milwaukee from the Canadian Football League, where he signed with the Calgary Stampeders on June 2. He was released on June 25 prior to the start of the regular season.
The 26-year old Tennessee Tech product returns to the arenafootball2 league after spending the 2008 season with the Louisville Fire. Kyles has also played for the semi-pro Murfreesboro Red Devils.
Blalock, 33, appeared in ten games for the Iron, catching 16 passes for 196 yards and three touchdowns.
The 5-8 Iron remain in the af2 playoff picture with three games to play, including road match-ups against the top two teams in their division. Milwaukee will travel to Iowa to take on the 9-4 Barnstormers on Saturday, July 11 before heading to Green Bay to face the 8-5 Blizzard on Friday, July 17. Milwaukee's final game is at home on Friday, July 24 against the 6-7 Albany Firebirds. Tickets for the home game are available through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com.
