Skyforce Re-Acquire Bubu Palo

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has re-acquired Bubu Palo as a returning player. Palo will fill the open roster spot left by Larry Drew II, who recently earned an NBA call-up.

Palo has appeared in 101 career games for the Skyforce (59 starts) and has career averages of 11.6 points, 3.5 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game. Over the course of his career, Palo has excelled at getting to the free throw line, and ranks eighth in franchise history with 458 made free throw attempts.

Palo played and started in all seven playoff games for Sioux Falls during the 2016 NBA G League Championship run, and averaged 8.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Palo has scored in double figures 61 in his Sioux Falls career, scoring a career-high 34 points at home against the Canton Charge on March 19, 2016.

Prior to joining the Skyforce, Palo appeared in 16 games (10 starts) for the Texas Legends during the 2014-15 season after making the team as a tryout player. Palo averaged 6.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for the Legends.

Palo will again wear #8 this season for the Skyforce.
