Skyforce Announce Inaugural Hall Of Fame Inductees

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that Tommy Smith, Kasib Powell, David Bailey, and Mo McHone will be inducted into the Inaugural Skyforce Hall of Fame during halftime of game two of the NBA Development League Finals against the Los Angeles Defenders on Tuesday, April 26.

Tommy Smith helped the Skyforce set single season ticket and sponsorship records in his time as the team's general manager and chief executive officer in the 1990s. Smith served as an important piece of the organization's 1996 CBA Championship. Smith also won Executive of the Year awards during the 1995-96 season, 1997-98 season, and 1998-99 season for Sioux Falls.

Kasib Powell, a 6-7, 220-pound small forward, was the first Skyforce player to earn an NBA Development League MVP award. Powell averaged 21 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 60 total games played for Sioux Falls from 2007 to 2009.

David Bailey, a 5-8, 165-pound guard, is the franchise's all-time leader in points scored with 2,677. Bailey served as the starting point guard for the 2005 CBA Championship team and is also the all-time leader in games played for Sioux Falls with 207, and minutes played with 6,626.

Mo McHone was the head coach of the Skyforce from 1995 to 1999, again for the 2006-07 season, and finally from 2010-2012. McHone led Sioux Falls to their first CBA Championship in 1996 and has the most all-time wins as head coach of the Skyforce with 195 regular season games and 29 playoff games.
