Acquire Vitto Brown From Agua Caliente
PORTLAND, Maine - January 23, 2018 - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, announce that the team has acquired Vitto Brown from the Agua Caliente Clippers. The trade is pending a completion of a physical.
In return, the Clippers receive returning player rights to Cameron Ayers and JayVaughn Pinkston.
Brown, a 6-8, 235 pound forward, has played in 24 games for both Agua Caliente and Wisconsin Herd in his rookie season, averaging 7.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. The University of Wisconsin product was a four-year player for the Badgers, starting in all 37 games last seaosn.
Ayers played for the Red Claws last season, averaging 4.6 points over 26 games. Pinkston was with the team at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The Red Claws are in action tonight at Long Island. Maine returns home Thursday when it takes on Greensboro.
