The Red Claws led 10-4 before former Red Claw Jalen Jones dropped in a corner 3 for the Swarm. Allen continued the hot shooting, driving inside for the lay-up and then stepping outside for a trey - Allen scored 12 of Maine's first 19 points. Bird buried a three pointer to right the ship for Maine. Daniel Dingle hit Bird on the fast break for the easy deuce, but Paige answered with two of his own to keep it close, and Paige gave Greensboro the lead at the free throw line at 46-44. In the 3rd, the Red Claws and Swarm traded baskets early. Bird buried a corner three to give Maine a 74-62 lead. Paige's acrobatic reverse lay-in helped the Swarm, but hot outside shooting continued for the Red Claws. Adeyeye buried a three, and Dingle went inside to make it 87-69 Claws. Dixon continued to shoot well from outside, and Maine enjoyed a 14-point cushion. Allen fed Dixon for yet another three late in the period, and Maine took a 100-83 lead into the 4th.
Maine extended to a 20 point lead in the final period. Dixon buried a three as the shot clock expired to make it 115-95. Adeyeye continued his strong play, and his three made it 127-102.
