PORTLAND, Maine - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, announced the acquisition of Daniel Dingle from the available player pool. To clear a roster spot for Dingle, the Red Claws waived Jerome Seagears.
Dingle, a 6-7 swingman out of Temple University, was a 2nd Round selection by the Greensboro Swarm in the 2017 NBA G League Draft. In his senior season at Temple, Dingle started 31 of 32 games, averaging 12.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game for the Owls.
Seagears played two games for Maine this season, averaging 6.8 points in just 8.5 minutes played per game.
The Red Claws return to action Friday at Fort Wayne. Maine returns home Sunday for a 1 p.m. matinee against Greensboro.
