NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans Pelicans' Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations/General Manager Dell Demps announced today that the team has recalled rookie forward Cheick Diallo from the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League.
Diallo, 6-9, 220, has appeared in nine total games for Austin, averaging 12.0 points on .511 shooting from the floor, 6.0 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 23.3 minutes.
Diallo was originally selected by the L.A. Clippers with the 33rd overall pick out of the University of Kansas in the 2016 NBA Draft. Diallo has appeared in two regular season games for New Orleans, logging one rebound and one block in seven minutes of action. 3e0SSEEX13SBCCenternet_
