The Somerset Patriots and the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball have announced the Freedom and Liberty Division Teams that will play at Commerce Bank Ballpark for the 2008 All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 16th.

The Somerset Patriots have an All-Star list of VIP Guests attending the 2008 Atlantic League All-Star Game.
trumpFamed billionaire entrepreneur Donald Trump will be the team's Honorary Executive Chairman and make a special appearance. Mr. Trump will throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the start of the game and address the crowd.
Honorary Managers for both teams have been named.
Freedom Division: Jim Freyfrey Frey managed the Kansas City Royals to the 1980 World Series and the 1984 Chicago Cubs to the National League East Division Championship. He also served as General Manager of the 1989 National League East winning Cubs. Frey retired from the Cubs as Senior Vice President and currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Somerset Patriots.
Zimmer Liberty Division: Don Zimmer Zimmer has been a Major League coach or manager every year since 1971, 35 years total. Prior to joining the Tampa Bay Rays, he spent eight seasons as bench coach on the staff of New York Yankees Manager Joe Torre. "Zim" has managed 13 seasons in the Majors compiling an 885-858 (.508) record with the Padres, Red Sox, Rangers and Cubs. He was named National League Manager of the Year in 1989 after guiding the Cubs to the National League East Division title with a 93-69 record
