Ontario Reign Contribute over $557,000 and 700 Community Volunteer Hours in the Inland Empire

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), is proud to announce their contribution of over $557,000 and 700 volunteer hours to the local community during the team's 2015-2016 inaugural season in the AHL.
The Reign auctioned game-worn specialty jerseys, raising a total of over $224,000 to benefit the following organizations: USO Ontario, University of LaVerne Scholarship Fund, Susan G. Komen Inland Empire, San Antonio Regional Hospital Foundation, American Red Cross San Bernardino County Chapter, Loma Linda University Children's Hospital Foundation, Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley and The Be Perfect Foundation.
The Ontario Reign and its charitable arm, the Hope Reigns Foundation, make it a priority to give back to youth, families and schools in the Inland Empire. Tickets and merchandise are the most requested items and with over 350 requests throughout the 2015-2016 season, the Reign donated a total of 1,400 tickets and over $40,000 in in-kind donations to various nonprofit organizations and schools in the Inland Empire. Additionally, the Hope Reigns Foundation and some of the Reign's corporate partners helped raise over $18,000 through events and fundraising opportunities for organizations such as Toys for Tots and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The Reign thrive on inviting local organizations to games to help their fundraising efforts. Through in-game opportunities including Chuck-a-Puck, drawings and silent auctions, local organizations generated over $95,000 throughout the pre-season, regular season, and postseason. Additionally, group fundraising tickets raised $180,000 for these organizations.
