Des Moines, Iowa - The New Orleans Pelicans announced today they have Called-Up Iowa Energy forward James Ennis and signed him to a 10-day contract.
Ennis (6-7, 210) has appeared in 24 games (21 starts) for the Energy this season and averaged 18.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 33.3 minutes. He appeared in 15 games on eight assignments from the Memphis Grizzlies before being waived on Mar. 2. Ennis re-joined the Energy after clearing NBA waivers and signing with the NBA D-League. The California State University, Long Beach product has appeared in 75 NBA games (3 starts) in two years with the Memphis Grizzlies and Miami Heat.
