
Mavericks Assign A.j. Hammons And Nicolas Brussino To The Texas Legends

DALLAS - The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have assigned center A.J. Hammons and guard-forward Nicolas Brussino to the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.
Hammons (7-0, 250) has appeared in 17 games for the Mavericks this season, averaging 1.4 points and 1.2 rebounds in 4.5 minutes. He has made four of his first six career 3-point attempts (4-of-6, .667).
Hammons is averaging 12.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 15.5 minutes in two games (both starts) for the Legends this year.
Brussino (6-8, 195) has played in 27 games for Dallas this season, averaging 1.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 6.8 minutes. This will mark his first career D-League assignment.
