
Mardi Gras leads a parade of Events for the Bucks

Houma Bayou Bucks News Release
Houma, Laâ The Bayou Bucks and Bayou Belles plan to participate in several community events during the month of February. The team's busy schedule will begin on Sunday February 14th as the Bayou Belles have been invited to ride in the Krewe of Hercules parade. The Belles will be riding on a vintage trolley that was brought to Houma by way of San Francisco, California.
Later in the month, the team's mascot, Buckshot, along with the Belles will also play a part in St. Bernadette Catholic School's childrens parade. In addition, selected Bayou Bucks players will be visiting East Houma Elementary School to partake in special Black History Month festivities.
The Bayou Bucks begin their third season on Friday March 12 at the Bancorp South Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. The following week the Bucks open their home schedule with a rematch of the first round of the 2003 playoffs against the Lake Charles Landsharks. For ticket information please call (985) 851-3600.
