Marcus Georges-Hunt Returns to the Maine Red Claws

PORTLAND, Maine - February 21, 2017 - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, announce that the team has re-acquired Marcus Georges-Hunt. The rookie earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the Miami Heat on Feb. 8. Georges-Hunt's 10-day contract expired on Sunday, and by rule he returns to the Red Claws.
Georges-Hunt, a rookie guard, has played in 32 games for the Red Claws, helping lead Maine to a 20-12 record. Georges-Hunt has recorded Maine's only triple-double of the season on Nov. 18 (22 points, 10 rebounds, 13 assists). He is averaging 16.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game with Maine.
