Legends Announce Salvation Army Night, Presented by Smith Thompson

FRISCO, TX, (Mar. 24, 2017) - The Texas Legends will play their final regular season home game this Saturday night and will celebrate The Salvation Army thanks to a continued partnership with Smith Thompson Home Security. The night will be themed out by The Salvation Army and will draw exposure and raise funds through various facets of the game.

The Legends will wear custom jerseys in honor of The Salvation Army, branded with both the Legends and Smith Thompson Home Security logos. Jerseys will be available for purchase on the Legends merchandise site after the game ( www.TexLegendsShop.com ) with all proceeds benefiting The Salvation Army. As part of the festivities of the night, the team will honor volunteers and select individuals from the organization as "Legends of the Night."

"We look forward to the opportunity to highlight the efforts and victories of The Salvation Army for the fifth straight year," said Legends President and General Manager Malcolm Farmer. "Our fans are actively involved in this night each year as we kick off a new season of fundraising for their mission."

The Legends face the Austin Spurs at 7:30 pm on March 25. It will be the final matchup between the two teams this season with the Legends looking to even the season series at two games apiece.

The game will be broadcast live on television- Texas 47--and radio- kvgiradio.com, as well as on Facebook Live through the NBA Development League's page.
