
Legends Acquire Donald Sloan

FRISCO, TX, (Nov. 3, 2017) - The Texas Legends announced today that they have acquired guard Donald Sloan off waivers.
Sloan (6-3, 205, Texas A&M) has five years of NBA experience, totaling 218 games with averages of 5.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists in 17.2 minutes per game. Last season, Sloan joined Guangdong Southern and led the Tigers to the CBA Finals averaging 23.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.5 steals in 49 games. Sloan has previously played in the G League with the Reno Bighorns, Erie Bayhawks, and Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Sloan played four seasons for the Aggies, earning the school's first Sweet 16 appearance since 1980. The Dallas native joined the Washington Wizards for 2017 Training Camp and saw action in two preseason games.
The Legends will hit the road tomorrow for their season opener against the Austin Spurs at 7pm CT. The team will make its home debut Nov. 18th hosting the Oklahoma City Blue at 7:30pm. For tickets or information visit www.TexLegends.com.
