Josh Huestis and Mitch McGary Assigned to Oklahoma City Blue

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Thunder has assigned forwards Josh Huestis and Mitch McGary to the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti.

Huestis has appeared in 12 games (all starts) for the Blue this season, averaging 11.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 1.33 blocks in 32.4 minutes per game. Huestis has not appeared in a game for the Thunder this year.

McGary has played in 11 games (six starts) for the Blue this season and recorded averages of 14.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.5 steals in 26.1 minutes per contest. In 13 games with the Thunder this year, McGary is averaging 1.2 points and 1.0 rebound in 4.2 minutes.

Both players are expected to be in uniform this evening when the Blue hosts the Los Angeles D-Fenders at the Cox Convention Center at 7 p.m.
