Sunday Fun Day vs. Spokane Chiefs
It's a big sports weekend coming up in Seattle. The Seahawks battle the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. Then on Sunday we host the Spokane Chiefs in a US Division matchup.
Get out to the ShoWare Center on Sunday and cheers us on as we battle the Chiefs for two crucial points in the standings. The puck drops at 5:05pm.

Player Appearances at Fred Meyer Stores
The T-Birds will be making two player appearances at Fred Meyer stores on Thursday, January 12.
Half of the team will be at the Kent Fred Meyer from 6pm to 7pm and the second half of the team will be at the Benson Plaza Fred Meyer in Renton from 6pm to 7pm.
Players will be available for autographs and picture taking. Cool Bird will also be in attendance at one of the stores.
We look forward to seeing fans that stop by one of the Fred Meyer stores.
Next Directors Mortgage 2-for-Tuesday January 17
The fifth Directors Mortgage 2-for-Tuesday is January 17 against the Everett Silvertips.
The first 2,500 fans will receive the fifth of eight player magnets.
* Group tickets - purchase 20 group tickets and receive the customary $6 discount off of the walk up price PLUS the 2 for 1 deal. This means that you can get 40 tickets for $10 a piece!
* Suites - All suites are half price during Tuesday home games

Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss Presented By WARM 106.9 Is Saturday, January 21
The Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss presented by WARM 106.9 is Saturday, January 21, when the T-Birds take on the Vancouver Giants.
After the T-Birds first goal of the game fans should throw teddy bears and stuffed animals on to the ice. The bears are collected by the WARM 106.9 FM Teddy Bear Patrol. The Teddy Bear Patrol distributes the bears to local police and fire departments who give them to children in times of emergency and crisis.

Fans are encouraged to bring as many teddy bears and stuffed animals as possible to the game against the Giants. A limited number of teddy bears will also be available for purchase at the game. Fred Meyer is donating bears to Children's Hospital who will be selling them at the game for $5. All proceeds raised from the sale of bears goes directly to Children's Hospital.

Doxon Toyota of Auburn Mite Fest
The Doxon Toyota of Auburn Mite Fest is Sunday, January 29, against the Tri-City Americans. Mite players from minor hockey associations in King and Pierce Counties will be playing games on the ShoWare Center ice prior to the T-Birds game against the Americans. A select group of mites will be playing during the first intermission of the game.
The T-Birds thank Doxon Toyota for their continued support of youth athletics in our community.

Directors Mortgage 2-for-Tuesday vs. Kamloops Blazers
The sixth Directors Mortgage 2-for-Tuesday is January 31 against the Kamloops Blazers.

Pub Night vs. Kamloops Blazers
The T-Birds host the Kamloops Blazer on Friday, February 3, at ShoWare Center. It's the second Pub Night of the season. You can get 10 tickets, 10 beers and 10 hats for $220. It's a great package for a group of friends, or a family, to come out and catch a T-Birds game. Get a Pub Night package online or by calling the T-Birds at 253-239-7825.
T-Birds vs. Portland Broadcasts on This TV
The T-Birds and Tribune Broadcasting have partnered to broadcast eight games this season on This TV.
The next game to be broadcast is on February 4th at 7pm in Portland.
This TV can b e seen over the air locally on This TV channel 13.2 and on Comcast Cable channel 357.

T-Birds Coach's Show on 1090 The Fan
Listen to the Seattle Thunderbirds Coach's Show on 1090 The Fan this season.
Head Coach Steve Konowalchuk joins play-by-play voice Thom Beuning this Thursday at 6pm on 1090 The Fan to talk T-Birds hockey. General Manager Russ Farwell will also be a guest on the show and will be talking with Thom about the status of the team as we push towards the playoffs.

All Suite and Heritage Club season ticket holders can use the Doxon Toyota VIP Parking Area for T-Birds games.
The Doxon Toyota VIP Parking Area is on the west side of ShoWare Center right near the Suite and Heritage Club ticket entrance.
This season fans will also see Doxon Toyota automobiles up close on the ShoWare Center plaza throughout the season. The T-Birds very popular second intermission Chuck-A-Puck Promotion will feature new Doxon Toyota automobiles all season long. Fans will notice the Doxon Toyota name throughout the ShoWare Center.

Retired after serving 23 years, but still working as a Civilian at the US Coast Guard, Chief Petty Officer David Cohoe was the military member honored by BECU at the game on January 6 vs. the Everett Silvertips.
Hot Dog Happy Hour
At every home game this season fans can get bottled beer, domestic draft beer, wine and well cocktails at 2-for-1 prices in the Heritage Club for the first 30 minutes after the doors open. Fans must have a Club Ticket to access the Heritage Club.
Fans can also get $3 hot dogs and $3 cans of soda at the southeast concession stand for the first 30 minutes after doors open at ShoWare Center. This is the concession stand nearest the Hockey Store.
Les Schwab Ice Box Includes Club Buffet
The Les Schwab Ice Box is a great way for your group to watch a T-Birds game. When you purchase a Les Schwab Ice Box for a T-Birds game you receive:
30 to 50 tickets in the first 3 rows of Section 113. The Les Schwab Ice Box can accommodate more than 50 tickets if needed. Each ticket costs only $38 per group member and includes a voucher for the Heritage Club Buffet. Each guest will have access to the Heritage Club located on the 2nd level of ShoWare Center. Group Welcome on the Video Board. Group Leader receives $10 worth of Chuck-a-Pucks. Group Leader receives 2 FREE tickets to another game. Entry into the Group MVP of the Night for the chance to win a Universal Travel Organizer from Ricardo Beverly Hills. A T-Birds hat will be included for each member of the group if 40 tickets are purchased at once.
