TODAY'S GAME: Game one of a two-game series against the Jupiter Hammerheads (MIA) at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium...Florida is coming off a 1-8 homestand against the Daytona Tortugas and Dunedin Blue Jays to open the second half...The Fire Frogs dropped their final seven games of the homestand, including a three-game sweep against the Blue Jays, and a two-game sweep at the hands of the Tortugas...Third of four series (11 games) against the Miami Marlins' affiliate, five at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium (1-2)...The Atlanta Braves' affiliate dropped two of three on the road against the Hammerheads from June 18-20.

TODAY'S STARTING PITCHER: 20-year-old Ian Anderson makes his 15th start of 2018 in game one of the two-game series against the Jupiter Hammerheads on Monday night...The 6'3" hurler came into the campaign as the Atlanta Braves fifth-ranked prospect in both Baseball America and MLB.com, and is the 42nd- (Baseball America) and 51st- (MLB.com) overall rated prospect in baseball...The native of Rexford, N.Y. suffered his fifth loss of the season in a 5-1 defeat to the Dunedin Blue Jays on June 26 at Osceola County Stadium...The right-hander allowed two runs on six hits, three walks and six strikeouts through six frames in the quality start...Monday will be Anderson's second career start against the Hammerheads...The third overall pick in the 2016 draft faced off against Jordan Yamamoto on June 20 at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, and came out on the losing end of a 2-0 contest...The 6-foot-3 hurler allowed two runs on seven hits, a free pass, and a season-high eight punchouts in six innings in the quality start.

SKID CONTINUES AFTER DOUBLEHEADER SWEEP: The Florida Fire Frogs opened the month of July with a tough doubleheader sweep at the hands of the Daytona Tortugas on Sunday afternoon at Osceola County Stadium. The 8-2 and 4-3 losses extended the team's losing streak to seven, and wrapped up the nine-game homestand with a 1-8 mark to start out the second half. The defeats also sends the club's series record to 5-13-5 for 2018, and the fall in game two dropped the Fire Frogs' extra-innings record to 3-8.

SALAZAR STRIKES: Alejandro Salazar finished the day 4-for-7 in his return to the Fire Frogs after spending the previous six days with Triple-A Gwinnett...The versatile infielder now leads the team with a .277 batting average, jumping three points higher than Cristian Pache.

LET'S GET SOME RUNS!: The Fire Frogs scattered 13 men on base during Sunday's twin bill against the Tortugas, and combined to go 4-for-18 with runners in scoring position on the day...Through the first nine games of the second half, Florida has just 14 hits 83 (.169avg.).
