Energy Announce Returning, Affiliate and Tryout Players

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Energy announced today the return of Ramon Harris, Kalin Lucas, Cartier Martin, Mardracus Wade and Terry Whisnant. In addition, the team announced Matt Costello, Kellen Dunham, Wayne Selden Jr. and JaKarr Sampson will join the Energy's training camp roster via the affiliate players rule after participating in the Memphis Grizzlies training camp. The Energy have invited one player from local tryouts to attend training camp, that player being former Iowa Hawkeye Matt Gatens.

The remainder of the Energy's Training Camp Roster will be filled with selections from the 2016 NBA D-League Draft. The Energy hold the number 11 overall pick in the First Round, followed by picks 55, 89, 99 and 101 overall.

Fans can join the Energy at Legends American Grill in downtown Des Moines tomorrow (Sunday, October 30) as they make Draft selections live on site. The Draft Party begins at 12:30pm, with many of the current list of players expected to be in attendance. Draft selections begin promptly at 1:00pm.
