
Energy Acquire Lewis Jackson, 2017 Third-Round Selection from Erie

Des Moines, Iowa (Dec. 19, 2016) - The Iowa Energy announced today that they have acquired guard Lewis Jackson and Erie's 2017 NBA D-League third round draft pick in exchange for guard Kalin Lucas.
Jackson (5-10, 165, Purdue), has appeared in six games this season, averaging 5.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 19 minutes per game.
A Decatur, Ill. native, Jackson played all four years at Purdue University, finishing his career ranked second in school history in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.15) and seventh in assists (456). Jackson was selected in the fifth round of the 2013 NBA D-League draft by the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Over three seasons in the D-League, Jackson has averaged 8.2 points, 6.4 assists and 3.6 rebounds in 26.6 minutes per game.
Jackson's first opportunity to suit up for the Energy comes amidst a five-game home stand, as the Energy take on the Santa Cruz Warriors Tuesday, Dec. 20.
