Atlantic City CardSharks News Release

Atlantic City, NJ, June 2, 2004 – While the CardSharks players prepare to host the Evansville Blue Cats on the field Saturday night, the fans prepare to welcome "America's Tenor" Daniel Rodriguez to Boardwalk Hall for his famous a cappella versions of "The Star Spangled Banner" and "God Bless America."

Rodriguez, sometimes referred to as "America's Singing Policeman," has just released his second album, "From My Heart," which some say is an even more heartfelt album than his first, "Daniel Rodriquez-The Spirit of America," released shortly after the September 11th attacks. In addition to singing the "Star Spangled Banner" before the game, Rodriquez will perform a number during the halftime ceremonies from his new album, which will also be available at the game for purchase.

In addition to the performances by Brooklyn native Rodriquez, to honor the men and women who serve as Police Officers, Firefighters, and Emergency Medical Technicians in local communities, tickets will be discounted for all fans at buying one at regular price, and receiving the second for just $1. These special tickets will be only be available at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office, located directly on the Boardwalk.

Other tickets still remain for the CardSharks game against Evansville in Boardwalk Hall on Saturday, June 5th at 7:35 PM. For tickets, call Ticketmaster at 1-800-736-1420 or visit them on the web at www.ticketmaster.com.
