Santa Cruz Warriors News Release
OAKLAND, Calif. - The Golden State Warriors announced today that the team's television and radio partners, CSN Bay Area and 95.7 The Game, will both carry the Santa Cruz Warriors game against the Oklahoma City Blue at Oracle Arena on Sunday, February 12, at 6:00 p.m. The game, which marks the first time that Golden State's D-League affiliate has played at Oracle Arena, is expected to establish a new single-game D-League attendance record. The current D-League attendance record is held by Raptors 905, who drew 15,011 to the Air Canada Centre on December 20, 2016.
The broadcast crew for CSN Bay Area, the exclusive television home for Warriors games in Northern California, will include play-by-play announcer Guy Haberman, analyst Kelenna Azubuike, and sideline reporter Kelli Johnson. Azubuike played 60 games in the NBA D-League during his career (2005-06, 2006-07 & 2011-12) and played 205 regular-season games with Golden State after earning a D-League Call-Up to the Warriors in January of 2007.
The radio broadcast on 95.7 The Game (KGMZ-FM) will feature play-by-play man Kevin Danna and analyst Drew Shiller. Danna & Shiller have served as the broadcast team for all Santa Cruz Warriors home games since the team moved to Northern California in 2012.
