WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The first-place Sacramento River Cats will look to continue their winning ways with a four-game homestand against the Tacoma Rainiers-the Triple-A Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The homestand begins today when we'll honor our 10 millionth fan with nearly $3,000 in prizes, and continues through the weekend with numerous promotions including a Kurt Suzuki bobblehead giveaway presented by Toyota, two fireworks shows, Star Wars Night, a Father's Day BBQ, a U.S. Army Birthday Celebration and Throwback Monday presented by Cache Creek.
Friday, June 14 vs. Tacoma Rainiers - 7:05 p.m.
- Fireworks Friday: Enjoy a fireworks display after the game.
- U.S. Army Birthday Celebration: Help us celebrate the 238th birthday of the US Army as the players sport their camouflage jerseys.
- Military Personnel Discount: All current and former military personnel will receive discounted tickets at the Round Table Pizza Ticket Office.
Saturday, June 15 vs. Tacoma Rainiers - 7:05 p.m.
- Sutter Health Fireworks Saturday: Sutter Health is once again partnering with the River Cats to bring you fireworks across the Sacramento skyline after all 11 Saturday home games this season.
- Star Wars Night: Star Wars characters will roam the concourse throughout the night and the first 2,000 kids will receive a glowsaber.
- Scout Night: Boy scouts are welcomed to participate in a pregame parade and motivational talk with a River Cats player and manager.
- Lexus of Roseville Grand Slam Saturday Sweepstakes: Win a free two-year lease on a Lexus if the River Cats hit a grand slam in the eighth inning by signing up at Lexus of Roseville.
Sunday, June 16 vs. Tacoma Rainiers - 1:05 p.m.
- Kurt Suzuki Bobblehead Giveaway presented by Toyota: 2,500 fans will receive a Kurt Suzuki bobblehead.
- Father's Day BBQ: Our annual Father's Day BBQ takes place before the game to thank the father in your life.
- U.S. Bank Sunday Funday: Kids of all ages will enjoy pregame player autographs, face painters and balloon artists, and the opportunity to "Run the Bases" on the field after every Sunday home game.
Monday, June 17 vs. Tacoma Rainiers - 7:05 p.m.
- Throwback Monday presented by Cache Creek: The players will be wearing throwback Sacramento Solons jerseys and hats, popcorn and peanuts are just 50 cents each, and Gus the Organ Guy will entertain the crowd with vintage organ music.
Additionally, the River Cats will continue their partnership with the inGame App, a smartphone application that offers fans the chance to participate in and win prizes during promotions at all Thursday-through-Sunday River Cats home games.
