Canton Falls to Iowa at Showcase

MISSISSAUGA, ON - The Iowa Wolves (13-10) overcame a 21-point deficit to beat the Canton Charge (9-15), 100-97, to cap off Day One of the NBA G League Showcase 2018.

Amile Jefferson led all scorers with 29 points on 10-of-16 shooting to go with 15 rebounds and six assists as the Wolves outscored the Charge 59-36 in the second half to earn their 13th win of the season. In the win, Anthony Brown finished with 18 points, six rebounds and five assists and Melo Trimble added 14 points.

Marcus Thornton scored a team-high 25 points in the Charge's losing effort while JaCorey Williams contributed 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting. Portland's Caleb Swanigan posted a double-double of 13 points and 16 rebounds with two bocks in 35 minutes on assignment. Cleveland Two-Way Player London Perrantes had 11 points and eight assists with two steals in 41 minutes.
