Charleston Swamp Foxes News Release
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston Swamp Foxes will trade turf cleats for those fashionable, multi-colored bowling shoes this Wednesday, July 23 as they present “Bowl with the Foxes.”
Swamp Fox players, coaches, and staff, as well as members of the Vixens Dance Team, will all be out at Brunswick Sandpiper Bowling Lanes on Ashley Phosphate this Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm bowling with the youth league. Brunswick Sandpiper Lanes sponsor open bowling following the event from 8:30 until 10:00 pm.
Fans are also invited out to get autographs from the players, coaches, and Vixens.
Participants will bowl with three different Swamp FoxesÂ’ representatives in a round-robin format. The kids of the league will be bowling for a free ticket to the Swamp Foxes regular-season finale this Saturday, July 26 at the North Charleston Coliseum. The goal is for them to defeat one Swamp Fox representative out of the three possible tries.
Also, parents wishing to purchase tickets to accompany their children will be able to do so for a discounted rate.
The Swamp Foxes host the Richmond Speed this Saturday, July 26 in the regular-season finale at 7:30 pm at the North Charleston Coliseum. Charleston needs a win for a chance to make its first playoff appearance in team-history. Saturday is also The Citadel Alumni night, with a portion of ticket proceeds going to the Alumni Association. Join fellow Bulldogs as they gear up for the 2003 Southern Conference football and tailgating season in the parking lot at the North Charleston Coliseum.
