OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Blue fell to the Los Angeles D-Fenders, 118-107, on Friday at the Cox Convention Center.

Mitch McGary, on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder, produced his sixth double-double of the year with 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting to go with 12 rebounds. Fellow Thunder assignment Josh Huestis scored 18 points with five rebounds. Marquis Teague tallied 18 points, four assists and three rebounds. Aaron Harrison, Mustapha Farrakhan and Tomislav Zubcic each scored 11 points off the bench.

After being outscored by 11 in the opening quarter, Oklahoma City went on a 10-2 run late in the second to close the deficit and enter halftime down 54-48. Los Angeles pulled away midway through the fourth quarter to lead by more than two possessions for the remainder of the game.

"Obviously, tonight wasn't our best performance but it is something we can learn from," said Blue Head Coach Mark Daigneault. "I was happy to get Mitch and Josh back to get some rhythm. I thought both of those guys were impressive with their conditioning and their energy level in the game, but we need to play much better collectively as a team."

Oklahoma City (7-19) shot 52.9 percent from the floor and out rebounded the D-Fenders 46-36.

Los Angeles (13-13) was led by Vander Blue with a 43-point outing.

The Blue is back in action on Saturday at 7 p.m. when it hosts the Bakersfield Jam. For ticket information, visit OklahomaCityBlue.com.
