Bighorns Partner with Switch and First Nevada for Education Day Game

RENO, Nev. ---- The Reno Bighorns have joined forces with Switch and FIRST Nevada for their annual Education Day Game on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 10 a.m.

This unique game experience pairs the excitement of NBA basketball with an educational focus for the 3000+ northern Nevada Students in attendance.

Students attending the game will receive an education day packet that includes math and writing activities and health and wellness tips as well as a Bighorns Education Day t-shirt.

First Nevada will showcase robotics and educate all students in attendance on engineering and technology. Attendees are invited to attend the FIRST Tech Challenge State Championship on Feb. 9th and 10th at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows and the FIRST Robotics Competition - Las Vegas Regional on March 23-24 at the Thomas & Mack in Las Vegas. All events are free and open to the public.
