
Austin Spurs to Host Live Fit Game on January 29

AUSTIN, Texas-The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, will host their Live Fit game this Sunday, Jan. 29 at 5 p.m. versus the Los Angeles D-Fenders at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
Leading up to the game, the team will post NBA FIT tips of the day on their social media channels including Twitter @austin_spurs, Instagram: spurs_austin and Facebook.com/austinspurs. The tips are meant to help educate fans on easy ways to make healthy choices. Fans will also be able to enter to win prizes and tickets to the game by participating in various fitness challenges. Lastly, fans can download the NBA FIT app to track their fitness and nutrition at fit.nba.com/app.
Prior to the game, the Austin Spurs and Ray Jackson's Rising Stars Academic Athletic Foundation will host a Live Fit Family Fitness Clinic at LBJ High School on Saturday, Jan. 28 from 10 a.m. to noon. Fun and healthy activities for the entire family will take place including basketball, dance and fitness drills. Attendees will also have the chance to win prizes and tickets to the game the next day, as well as hang out with the 96.3 RnB street team.
Led by the NBA, its teams and players, NBA FIT aims to inspire fans of all ages to "be active, eat healthy, and play together," and teaches values of the game like hard work, discipline, leadership and teamwork.
