Austin Spurs to Hold Tacky Sweater Game on Dec 18

The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, announced today they will host a Tacky Sweater game this Sunday, December 18 at 3:00 p.m. versus the Westchester Knicks. Fans are encouraged to wear their best tacky holiday sweater to the game to help spread holiday cheer and for a chance to win a prize. Those wearing sweaters should go to the sales desk upon arrival to the game and sign up to be entered in to the tacky sweater contest. During halftime, those selected will go to the court where winners will be decided and fan prize packs will be awarded. Fans are also asked to bring an unwrapped toy to the game on Sunday to donate to the team's annual Season of Giving toy scramble. Those who donate will receive a ticket for an additional game in December free of charge. Those wearing a sweater should stay until the end of the game for a group picture that will be taken on the court after the Neighbors Emergency Center Toss for a Cause benefiting Alzheimer's Texas.
